My Production
One of biggest themes of my production is `Shintai (human body,physical)'. I think go back and forth between the world, my body, and my soul or connecting with these three by creating works is natural reactions as creator, and it is very important part of my productions. The motifs of my prodaction are faces and bodies. That is because I have a doubt to have a connection to myself and the world without my body. And I think I've kept making art work because I want to find the answer to my doubt. DEC 2004
Since I've become a teacher, I have thought that teaching is artistic,
it is similar to the art work itself. I think using cray-ons as drawing
material is very meaningful, because cray-ons are popular, inexpensive,
easy to use. Aug 2005
Cray-on Works
I think cray-ons can give me an actual feeling of `Shintai (body,physical) ' when I'm having them with my hands without brashes.
I can draw lines as make me do it. I call my works whitch are drawn with
cray-on ``Cray-on Works''. They are different from normal paintings and
distinguish these two. Cray-on Works attach an importance to the actions
of drawing lines. And They can be used as good materials when I create
sculptures, installations. I want you to feel the strong soul by looking
at accumulation of lines, like a good poem organized by many word. DEC
